Music Around Town

The Flint Institute of Music hosts a 4th of July celebration with an evening of fun and music at Flint’s Atwood Stadium. Experience a galaxy far, far away with the Flint Symphony Orchestra as they present the music of Star Wars along with a selection of patriotic favorites. The Flint Youth Symphony Orchestra with guest musicians from Limonest, France will open the show. Special guest – Flint native, and American Idol finalist La Kisha Jones will perform the national anthem. The concert will conclude with a dazzling fireworks display, presented by the Flint Downtown Development Authority.
